The Jazz Messengers rendered in teal, orange and ink black, built from collaged geometry and halftone texture. It has the look of a concert poster that survived decades on a basement wall and came out better for it. The fragmented typography and layered composition give it a kinetic quality — this one doesn't sit still.
Shares a visual language with the great Blue Note album covers of the 50s and 60s, but feels completely contemporary on a wall today.
